What these terms cover

These terms apply to the MessyNote website, the Reading Room app at messynote-study.brandong453.chatgpt.site, and purchases of MessyNote products or services. Reading Room membership and earlier digital purchases are separate products; purchasing one does not enroll you in the other.

Early-adopter and Reading Room membership

The discounted offer is limited to 100 people, including the two original founders who keep their $12/month rate. New early-adopter membership costs $13 USD per month while places remain; the standard rate is $20 USD per month. You may first start an eligible seven-day account trial without a card, including 50 responses and five voice minutes total. It never charges automatically. Choosing a paid membership charges at checkout and renews monthly until canceled. Access starts after your first payment is confirmed, not when you sign in. Membership includes 500 successful AI responses per paid billing period. Applicable tax is shown at checkout; your renewal date appears in Account.

Signing in alone does not reserve a place. A free trial does not reserve a discounted place. When discounted places are taken or temporarily held, the available standard membership is shown before checkout; you may also join the waitlist. Joining is free, does not start a subscription, and does not guarantee a place or future price. You can leave the waitlist from its page.

Your founding rate stays the same while your subscription stays active. If that subscription ends, a new membership uses the offer available when you rejoin. Recovering a temporary failed payment on the same subscription keeps its rate. A failed payment does not start a new paid period; access follows your actual paid period. Your membership rate and access dates appear in Account.

One AI response is one typed conversational reply or one generated note draft. Automatic folder organization and technical retries do not consume the allowance. There are no automatic usage overage charges. Request-size and short-term rate limits also apply.

Reading Room voice beta

Membership includes 30 voice minutes per actual paid billing period. Connected time includes pauses. Voice calls are limited to 15 minutes each and six starts per day, subject to the time remaining in your allowance. These minutes are separate from the AI response allowance. There are no automatic voice overage charges.

Voice requires microphone permission and a supported browser and device. Availability and performance may vary during the beta; you can continue by typing if voice is unavailable. End a voice conversation before choosing to make it into a note. Transcripts may contain errors, and an interrupted reply may include words that did not finish playing.

Your Reading Room content and account

You retain your rights to the content you provide. AI-generated replies and notes are for your review and may contain mistakes. Review a note before relying on it. Keep access to your sign-in method secure and use the service only for content you are entitled to provide.

You can read, manually edit, and download existing notes after membership ends. You can export your library in Account and support history from Support. Account deletion removes your active app content, support history, and waitlist entry and cancels the subscription immediately. Limited trial-eligibility and necessary billing records remain as described in the privacy policy; deleting an account does not reset trial eligibility. Do not use the app for unlawful activity, automated account creation, reselling access, or attempts to access another person’s information.

Reading Room billing and cancellation

Founding membership is charged at checkout and renews monthly until canceled. Cancel in Account to stop the next renewal. Paid access continues through your current paid period. Refund requests follow the Refund and cancellation policy. Any applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.

Earlier products and business services

The sections below continue to cover earlier products and automation services. If acting for a business, you represent that you are authorized to act for the business named in the request. Business services are intended for business use; the Daily Clarity Kit also supports personal use.

HVAC Automation Playbook

The HVAC Automation Playbook is a standardized 18-page instructional PDF, purchased once for $97 USD. It includes seven recipes with visual information flows, field mappings, configuration instructions, and test cases. It is not software, an importable workflow, a custom audit, or done-for-you implementation. Tool subscriptions, integrations, account access, custom planning, and builds are separate.

Download access is provided on the confirmation page after verified payment. Save your PDF and private confirmation link. If delivery or access fails, contact hello@messynote.com with the purchaser email and Stripe receipt; do not send card details. One purchase permits internal use within your business, not resale or public redistribution of the PDF. No particular savings, compatibility, implementation time, or business result is guaranteed. Examples are fictional; test safely before using live data.

Daily Clarity Kit

The Daily Clarity Kit is a one-time $39 USD ZIP download containing three importable n8n workflows, an 18-page setup guide, a two-page Quick Start, and supporting test data and instructions. It is not an installed service. You provide compatible n8n hosting and Google accounts, connect credentials, configure settings and verify the included tests before enabling a schedule. Third-party hosting fees and done-for-you setup are separate. The delivered routines do not require an AI API; Slack and WhatsApp are not wired features.

One purchase permits your personal use or internal use within your business, not resale or public redistribution of the kit. Download access follows verified payment. Save your ZIP and private confirmation link; contact hello@messynote.com with the purchaser email and Stripe receipt for delivery help, never card details. No particular savings, compatibility, setup time or outcome is guaranteed. It is a selected-source productivity aid, not medical treatment. Start with fictional data and keep human oversight.

Free fit review

Submitting a request is free. It does not start work, create a purchase, guarantee acceptance, or promise that automation is appropriate. Messy Note may accept the fit, ask one focused question, or decline without charging you.

Current-State Map

If Messy Note accepts the fit, you may be invited to purchase a $249 Current-State Map. Work begins only after Stripe confirms payment and Messy Note has the information reasonably needed to proceed. The target delivery window is 1–2 business days after both conditions are met.

The map documents one described workflow, its friction and exceptions, ranked automation options, and one recommended first build when supported by the evidence. It is a decision document—not a guarantee of savings, revenue, compatibility, or a successful implementation.

Automation builds

A build is optional and requires a separate written scope, exclusions, acceptance checks, delivery window, support window, and approved price. Payment for a map never commits you to a build. Material changes or additional workflows require a new or revised scope.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate, lawful information and timely access that you are authorized to share.
• Review and approve the written boundaries, business rules, customer-facing copy, and acceptance checks.
• Keep appropriate human oversight, backups, and the ability to pause or reverse automation.
• Do not provide passwords or sensitive data through the public fit form or ordinary email.

Ownership

After full payment, you may use and share the Current-State Map and any customer-specific deliverables created for your business. Messy Note retains ownership of its pre-existing templates, methods, reusable code, generalized know-how, and tools. Your business data and materials remain yours.

Payments, cancellations, and taxes

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars unless specified otherwise. You are responsible for applicable taxes unless Stripe or Messy Note is required to collect them. Cancellations and refunds follow the Refund and cancellation policy.

No guarantees; reasonable limits

Messy Note provides professional analysis and implementation using reasonable care, but automation depends on third-party systems, access, data quality, and business decisions outside Messy Note’s control. Services are provided without promises of uninterrupted operation, guaranteed revenue, or a particular business result.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Messy Note’s total liability for a claim related to a paid service will not exceed the amount paid for that specific service. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss.
