Does it write the note as we talk?
The conversation is a place to explore. You decide when to choose “Make this a note.” Then MessyNote brings the conversation together into an editable note. Your original conversation stays with it.
How does founding membership work?
Founding membership costs $12 USD at checkout and renews monthly until canceled. It includes 500 AI responses and 30 voice minutes per paid billing period. Your access starts after payment is confirmed, and your renewal date appears in Account. There is no free trial during the founding phase.
Signing in alone doesn’t reserve a place. If places are taken or held in checkout, you can join the waitlist for free. It doesn’t reserve a place or guarantee a future price.
Can I talk instead of typing?
Voice beta lets you talk an idea through and hear replies aloud. Choose “Talk it through” in the app and allow microphone access. Membership includes 30 voice minutes per paid billing period, with calls up to 15 minutes and up to six starts a day, subject to your remaining time. Connected time includes pauses. There are no automatic voice overage charges.
Voice support varies by browser and device, and beta service may be interrupted. You can keep typing if voice is unavailable. End the voice conversation, then choose “Make this a note” when you’re ready.
What is an AI response?
One typed conversational reply or one generated note draft. Automatic folder organization and technical retries don’t use your response allowance. Membership includes 500 per paid billing period. There are no automatic overage charges.
Can I close it and come back?
Yes. Your saved conversations and notes belong to your account. Sign in with the same account to return to your library, including from another device.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancellation stops the next renewal and paid access lasts through your current paid period. Existing notes remain available to read, edit, and download. The founding rate is kept while the same subscription stays active. Recovering a temporary failed payment on that subscription keeps its rate. Starting a new membership after it ends uses the then-current offer.
How are my words handled?
Your library is tied to your account. Relevant text is sent to OpenAI when you request AI help; voice beta also sends your microphone audio while connected. MessyNote uses Cloudflare for the app and storage, Supabase for sign-in, and Stripe for payments. You can download your library or delete your account. Read our privacy policy for the details.
